Our Story

A small herd, raised by hand.

Rigid Ranch is a family-owned operation just outside Van Alstyne, Texas. We keep our herd small on purpose — it's the only way to give every animal the room, the grass, and the attention that great beef requires.

No feedlots. No shortcuts. No mystery. When you buy from us, you know the land, the people, and exactly how your beef was raised.

Raised on open grass in Van Alstyne — no feedlots, no shortcuts.

The Difference

Why our beef beats the grocery case.

Store beef is bred for volume and shipped from who-knows-where. Ours is bred for flavor and raised down the road. Here's what that means on your plate.

Marbling you can taste

F1 Wagyu genetics produce fine intramuscular marbling — buttery, tender, and rich in a way commodity beef simply isn't.

Grass-fed, clean

Raised on open pasture with no added hormones — the way cattle are meant to be. Real food, raised on real grass.
